Ancestral Connection Group Workshop
Deepening Relationship With Those Who Came Before You

ANCESTRAL CONNECTION: BEGINNING & DEEPENING REALTIONSHIP WITH THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE YOU
This workshop offers a grounded, respectful approach to ancestral connection—centered on relationship rather than performance, listening rather than urgency, and discernment rather than assumption.
Ancestral work is not about recreating what was lost or rushing toward ritual. It begins with orientation: understanding who your ancestors are, how they may show up, and how to engage without fear, obligation, or spiritual overwhelm.
In this group workshop, participants are guided to explore ancestral connection through embodied awareness, shared inquiry, and simple practices that support clarity and safety.

IN THIS WORKSHOP, WE WILL EXPLORE

-
What ancestral connection is—and what it is not
-
How to approach ancestors with respect and discernment
-
Listening before asking
-
Navigating fragmented, disrupted, or unknown lineages
-
Establishing boundaries and consent in ancestral work

This workshop is especially supportive for those who feel called toward ancestral practices but are unsure where to begin, or who want to reorient their relationship with their ancestors in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.
This offering may serve as a foundation for deeper ancestral work, including altar practices, ritual, and one-on-one ceremonial offerings.
OVERVIEW OF GROUP WORKSHOPS WITH DÃMA
EMBODIED, ANCESTRAL, AND ENERGETIC LEARNING HELD IN COMMUNITY
Dãma’s group workshops are experiential, embodied spaces for learning, remembrance, and practice. Each workshop is designed to be accessible while remaining rooted in integrity, lineage awareness, and lived experience. These are not lecture-based classes. They are participatory, relational containers where teaching, practice, and inquiry unfold together witnessed in community. Workshops center themes such as energetic hygiene, ancestral connection, ritual orientation, and embodied sovereignty—offering tools participants can immediately integrate into daily life. Group work is a core part of Dãma’s practice. It allows for shared witnessing, collective learning, and the amplification that occurs when people gather with intention. Workshops are offered in person when Dãma is in town and occasionally as limited online offerings.
