Decolonize Your Altar
Ritual, Responsibility & Reimagining Your Sacred Practice

DECOLONIZE YOUR ALTAR:
RITUAL, RESPONSIBILITY & REIMAGINING YOUR SACRED PRACTICE
Most altars are built quickly. Few are built responsibly.
Decolonize Your Altar is a 7-module offering that invites a critical and grounded reorientation toward spiritual practice—one that examines how colonization, power, and extraction shape what we place on our altars and how we relate to them.
This is not an altar-building class. It is an inquiry into ethics, relationship, and accountability.

Through reflection, exercises, and sustained attention, this work supports you in:
-
Examining the histories carried by spiritual objects and practices
-
Interrupting habits of performance, consumption, and unexamined borrowing
-
Honoring the body as a living altar without bypassing responsibility
-
Clarifying lineage, influence, and longing without entitlement
-
Translating ritual symbolism into real-world action
This offering is designed to be moved through slowly.
Discomfort is not a problem here—it is information.
